Privacy Statement
The Canadian Science and Technology Historical Association recognizes your right to privacy and pledges to protect it. In addition, we are aware of our responsibilities under the federal Personal Information and Electronics Document Act.

Information Collected
We collect personal information about you only if you volunteer it when you join or renew your membership and/or make a donation and/or provide it in a survey whether "on site" or by written survey. We use this information to provide you with Association publica- tions including listserve messages, membership renewal purposes and to answer questions you submit to the Assoiciation. All information is kept confidential.

We do not currently gather information about you when you visit the Association's web site.

We occasionally sell or trade our membership mailing list to other closely related societies and/or companies who are making special offers to members of our Association and which the Association's Executive Committee feels may be of interest and benefit to the Association's membership.


Accountability
If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by writing to the treasurer. If you do not wish to receive listserve messages, please let us know by writing to the listserve administrator. Please provide us with your exact name and address; and we will then remove your name from our confidential list.
